Knoydart. A long way to go. A very good place to be.
Your Thai Chef was recently on holiday at the remote but none too inaccessible (a short boat ride from Mallaig) and beautiful Knoydart Peninsula in the west highlands of Scotland.
The local seafood at The Old Forge pub was excellent. How I would love to eat more!
Our stay at The Gathering B&B was excellent - spacious, clean, quiet, a beautiful view from the lounge, delicious breakfasts, and our friendly host Cara was very helpful (no wonder it is Number 1 on Trip Advisor!)

Creative Cuisine, Travel Tips, and the Queen's Mum too!
I was very fortunate to meet Caleb Laws who is a very nice chap and an amazing chef. Caleb is very passionate about his culinary creations so do check out his excellent blog KiwiSizzler for his recipes, photos of his very delicious looking food, travel tips, and very little seen pictures of the Queen's Mum's residence.
Smile!
Your Thai Chef recommends Shoot Loose Images for all your photographic needs. Not going to say anymore as the saying goes... a good picture is worth a thousand words. All work and no play makes a boring chef.
Every chef has to escape the kitchen and here are some places your Thai chef likes going to for a bite...
Jasmine Thai Restaurant
I don't tend to eat out Thai but was a meeting here recently. The buffet they put on of dishes from the northeast of Thailand (Isarn) was brilliant. Som Tam papaya salad, sticky rice, spicy meat salad (larb), grilled chicken, Isarn sausages, etc. All very yummy.

The best American-Style hotdogs in London for sure! Plus the guy who runs the stall is super nice. TimeOut London is also a big fan so that says something.

Morgan's Coffee Experience Coffee Cart
If you ever swing by Clapham Common tube station do stop for a delicious cup of coffee from the cart parked outside. They use beans from Monmouth... say no more :-)
Next time you're at Borough Market... apart from trying the chicken green curry (with the YTC touch) at Furness Fish & Game Stall... pop in for a cocoa tea (maybe with a shot of rum) at Rabot Estate. Sounds strange but their chilli chocolate chicken grilled panini is sensational.
Delicious Japanese food... very authentic and friendly. Superb sushi and tempura.
